This includes a) after sales service on instrumentation, b) consumables supply and c) most importantly, laboratory services for the detection of Covid-19 and other respiratory viruses.
An Introduction
chxair was founded by a team of scientists that were at the forefront of laboratory DNA testing before the Covid-19 pandemic of 2020. Through their working relationships with Thermo Fisher Scientific™, who had rapidly developed technology to support virus identification, and with Complement Genomics, an established laboratory providing Q-PCR virus testing and sequencing services, chxair was founded to support the demand from wide-ranging markets that wanted to minimise exposure of their communities to viral threat.

As can be seen from our case studies page the demand is widespread, it is not limited to the current Covid-19 situation but can provide security against viral and bacterial threats that were previously little understood by the non-scientific community.
Thermo Scientific™ provides the instruments, equipment, software, services and consumables that empower scientists to solve for complex analytical challenges in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, academic, government, environmental and industrial research, as well as the clinical laboratory.

Complement Genomics is a UKAS accredited laboratory formed in April 2000 with a vision to truly take DNA testing to the general public. They have since continued to bring forward new testing services and work in areas as diverse as clinical trials and non-human species identification.
